Music plays a very important role in a child's early years. Damroo is an hourglass shaped drum, typically played with the bare hands, a child waves the instrument by twisting the wrist back and forth. Playing damroo by beating is a nice way to develop motor coordination, rhythm and concentration skills. It's an accompaniment in folk songs and dances.
