Unlike other languages, English has very few vowels that are used in different combinations to make words. Although there are rules to make use of them, there are exceptions to the rule. This makes it difficult for the students to understand and learn correct spelling. This book has some rules of combinations given to get the long sounds of all the vowels- a, e, i,o,u. We have used words that children are quite familiar with. The book has exercises for good reading, writing and spelling practise.
